Gros Yeux - Monitoring App

Gros’Yeux is an open source monitoring tool designed to simplify server and infrastructure management. Built using Electron and Node.js, it offers a lightweight, intuitive interface that helps you monitor your services at a glance.

It’s meant to be straightforward — everything you need, nothing you don’t.

One Night, One Rewrite

The real breakthrough came during a late-night coding session. Everything was going smoothly until one of the dependencies started leaking memory.

Instead of finding a temporary workaround, I took the opportunity to completely rethink the storage system. The result is a backend that’s more reliable and maintainable — and while I was at it, I gave the UI a full refresh too:

• A new color palette
• Smooth transitions
• A cleaner, more fluid interface

The experience is now more polished, both visually and technically.

Gros’Yeux is available on GitHub, open to anyone who wants to test it, contribute, or simply follow its development. Feedback is more than welcome — whether you have bug reports, feature suggestions, or design critiques.
